Queen approves Mothers’ Union’s new constitution

Mothers’ Union is thrilled to announce its new constitution. After extensive consultation and deliberations by the Board over a period of more than two years, Her Majesty The Queen, the movement’s Patron,  approved a revised Royal Charter and Bye Laws on 24 April 2018.

The Worldwide Council also approved the revised Regulations to provide detailed guidance on implementation of the Charter.

“This means that Mothers’ Union now has a constitution which is fit for the Twenty First Century,” said Mothers’ Union’s CEO, Bev Jullien. “It is flexible enough to allow the organisation to evolve as needed in line with the needs of the membership and the communities we serve,” she continued.

The Board is deeply grateful for all of the prayerful support and guidance received from members across the world throughout this process.
