Immediacy .NET CMS

Immediacy .NET CMS 5.1 is a Web Content Management System developed to help non-technical users to produce, maintain and control a complex website in a simple manner. It is acknowledged for outstanding ease-of-use and the resulting high levels of user adoption.

Immediacy was the first UK based supplier to launch a .NET Content Management System and had over 50 implementations in the first six months of its release. Browser Based Editing

Getting CMS software to look and function like a heavyweight desktop application within the limitations and restrictions of an internet browser is a real challenge. One of the easiest ways to add content to Immediacy is simply by dragging and dropping Word and Excel files onto the browser interface.

  • The system converts the content into clean HTML
  • Word styles in the document are converted to applicable ones from CMS style-sheet
  • Images contained in the file are automatically placed into the system’s repository
  • Excel files will create tables on the webpage that automatically pick up styles
  • Further editing is possible via Immediacy’s powerful built-in table editor.

Protecting Your Brand

In Immediacy, the layout of content is controlled by templates and style-sheets. The templates determine where users can add and manage content and the style-sheets determine what the content looks like. This includes things like the typefaces used, the size and colour of headings and the amount of space between lines.
